Confession of My Hope

...Hebrews 10:23...Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful...
He who PROMISED is FAITHFUL
... ... ...
You, my God, my Maker
upholding this heart
You, Christ Jesus, my savior
keeping this soul

I rest here
I trust in you
leaning into You
This is my worship

You who promised is faithful
You who promised is faithful

You are Creator
You are Sustainer
I have need
I come boldly
I draw near
in full assurance of faith
Faith in You
Faith in who You are
... ... ...

...Romans 8:22 for we know that the WHOLE CREATION groans & labors with birth pangs...23 not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly awaiting for the ADOPTION, the REDEMPTION of our body...24 for we were saved in this HOPE; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 but if we hope HOPE for what we do not see, we eagerly await for it with PERSEVERANCE. 26 likewise the Spirit HELPS US in our weaknesses for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God... He knows how to bring about HIS PURPOSE, together with those who love Him...

...and He who PROMISED is and forever will be FAITHFUL.

greater love has no one than this

... ... ...

"As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends."

this Love I've found

... ... ...
for even when my heart condemns me
You, O Lord are for me.
for even when my heart turns away from You
You, O Lord faithfully wait for me.

therefore
I lean
lean into Your faithfulness
therefore
I lean
lean upon Your goodness

In my weakness You are faithful
In my brokenness You are faithful

For where could I go from Your Spirit
Oh where could I flee from Your presence

Hope in My Wilderness

... ... ...

Hosea 2:14

"Therefore, behold, I will allure her,
Will bring her into the wilderness,
And speak comfort to her.
I will give her
her vinyards from there,
And the Valley of Achor
as a door of hope;
She shall sing there,
As in the days of her youth,
As in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt."
"And it shall be, in that day, " says the Lord,
"That you will call Me, 'My Husband,'
And no longer call Me 'My Master,'
For I will take from her mouth the names of the Baals,
And they shall be remembered by their name no more.
In that day I will make for them
With the beasts of the field,
With the birds of the air,
And with the creeping things of the ground.
Bow and sword of battle
I will shatter from the earth,
To make them lie down safely.
"I will betroth you to Me forever;
Yes, I will betroth you to Me
In righteousness and justice,
In lovingkindness and mercy;
I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness,
And you shall know the Lord."

"It shall come to pass in that day
That I will answer," says the Lord;
"I will answer the h
eavens,
And they shall answer the earth.
The earth shall answer
With grain,
With new wine,
and with oil;
They shall answer Jezreel.
Then I will sow her for
Myself in the earth,
And I will have mercy on her
who had not obtained mercy;
Then I will say to those who were not My people,
'You are My people!'
And they shall say,
'You are my God!' "

...Yes, there is HOPE in the wilderness...

John 14
"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in ME." Jesus
John 17:26
"And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them."

A Psalm of David-36:5-9

Psalm 36:5-9

Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens;
Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Your Righteousness is like the great mountains;
Your judgements are a great deep;
O Lord, You preserve both man & beast.
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God!
Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.
They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house,
And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.
For with You is the fountain of life;
In Your light we see light

A Song Sung by Misty Edwards, today 2 p.m.

Let not the one who waits
Be put to shame
Come vindicate us with Your presence

I will wait forever, my Love
I will wait forever for You to come
I will wait
I will wait upon the Lord

how do I know what love is?

Let my life be a response to love.
He loved me first. (John 3)
I receive this gift of love.
I am not my own, He bought me with a price.

1 Cor. 6:20 For you were bought at a price ; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are now God's.

Song of Songs 1:2-3
Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His Word. For Your love, oh Lord is better than wine. Because of Your good perfumes... Your name is like purfume poured forth; therefore Your people love You.
...my prayer...I want to know how high, how deep, how wide is the love of Christ. Your love is better than wine...better than even permissable earthly pleasures. This is what I want to experience in my life. Father of Glory (Eph. 1:17-19), grant to me Your spirit. Let Your Son kiss me with kisses of Your Word. Spirit of the Living God, Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord (Is.11:2)

...I belong to Christ Jesus.

Song of Songs 2:3-4
I sat down in His shade with great delight, and His fruit was sweet to my taste. He brought me to His banqueting table. His banner over me was love.

...I sat down...I lay my burdens down. At the finished work of the cross of Christ. My plans, my striving to achieve.
...My pain, my grieving. I lay that down too.

Is. 53:4 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. v.5 but He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed, v.6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
Ps. 23 He led me there. My Good Shepherd. Led me beside still waters.

...So I will rest.
...My soul will rest.

Amen.

Wisdom from Proverbs 16:
1The preparations of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.
2All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the LORD weighs the spirits.
3Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established.
4The LORD has made all for Himself, Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom.
5Everyone proud of heart is an abomination to the LORD; Though they join forces, non will go unpunished.
6In mercy and truth
Atonement is provided for iniquity;
And by the fear of the LORD one departs from evil.
7When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
8Better is a little with righteousness, Than vast revenues without justice.
9A man's heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.
10Divination is on the lips of the king; His mouth must not transgress in judgement.
11Honest weights and scales are the LORD'S; All the weights in the bag are His work.
12It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, For a throne is established by righteousness.
13Righteous lips are the delight of kings, and they love him who speaks what is right.
14As messengers of death is the king's wrath, but a wise man will appease it.
15In the light of the king's face is life, and his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain.
16How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
17The highway of the upright is to depart from evil; He who keeps his way preserves his soul.
18Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
19Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
20He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.
21The wise in heart will be called prudent, and sweetness of the lips increases learning.
22Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it, but the correction of fools is folly.
23The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, And ads learning to his lips.
24Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.
25There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.
26The person who labors, labors for himself, for his hungry mouth drives him on.
27An ungodly man digs up evil, And it is on his lips like a burning fire.
28A perverse man sows strife, and a whisperer separates the best of friends.
29A violent man entices his neighbor, And leads him in a way that is not good.
30He winks his eye to devise perverse things; He purses his lips and brings about evil.
31The silver-haired head is a crown of glory, If it is found in the way of righteousness.
32He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
33The lot is cast into the lap, But its every decision is from the LORD.
